Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Raseen (the "Service"), a software-as-a-service product that connects to your billing platforms and produces revenue summaries and accountant-ready exports. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Raseen provides read-only integrations with third-party billing platforms (such as Stripe, Paddle, and Lemon Squeezy), normalizes the resulting transaction data, and generates summaries and CSV exports. The Service is a reporting and bookkeeping aid; it is not an accounting, tax, or legal advisory service, and its output does not constitute professional advice. You are responsible for verifying exported figures with your accountant before relying on them.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Service.
4. Subscriptions, Billing and Trials
Paid plans are billed through our merchant of record, Paddle. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Where offered, free trials convert into paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
5. Your Data and Connected Platforms
You retain all rights to the billing data you connect to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to access, store, and process that data solely to operate the Service for you. API keys you provide are stored encrypted at rest and used only to read data from the platforms you connect. Handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service in violation of any law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; (c) resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our consent; (d) reverse engineer or copy the Service; (e) use the Service to process data you have no right to process; or (f) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third-party platforms (including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Paddle, and Lemon Squeezy). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Raseen and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported data will be free of discrepancies. Figures produced by the Service depend on data returned by your connected platforms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raseen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from account settings; deletion permanently removes your synced data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 8–10 and 12–13) survive.
12. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@raseen.tech.
